Diane Lee Weaver (nee Piatt) came into this world on July 12, 1940 and left peacefully on April 2, 2024. She was preceded in death by her father Arthur Dale Piatt and mother Lyda Gertrude (Boles) Piatt; her sister Lyda Eileen Hoffman (William); brothers Arthur Dale "Bud" Piatt, Jr (Doris), James Piatt (Margaret), and Roger Piatt. She is survived by husband John David "Dave" Weaver, her sister Patricia Warner, sister-in-law Joyce Piatt, daughter Jennifer LaFleur (Jim), son Andy Weaver (Lisa), niece Tricia Funari (Daniel), grandsons Andrew Weaver II, and Benjamin LaFleur, granddaughter Lydia Weaver and grandniece Emily Funari, and many other nieces and nephews. She was educated as a Medical Records Administrator at Brooklyn Medical College, Mount Union College and The University of Akron. Her professional career included employment at Barberton Citizens Hospital, St. Thomas Hospital and Summa Akron City Hospital. She was an avid reader, enjoyed cross-stitching and evenings on the deck enjoying a glass of wine with Dave. She made the best cherry pie and baked beans! She volunteered for and supported the Barberton Public Library and the Common Threads Closet, a free store located at Lakeview United Methodist Church in Barberton. Per her wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no calling hours or funeral service. A Memorial Service will be held soon.
