James E. Kellar

BARBERTON---James E. Kellar, 61, passed away June 18, 2010 at Summa Barberton Hospital.

Jim was born in Barberton where he was a life resident and loved being an Umpire for youth baseball for over 20 years. He was also a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church where he sang in the choir.

Preceded in death by his parents Robert and Josephine; Survivors include his sister Jean Shimp of Norton; brothers Robert (Martha) of La Luz, New Mexico and Tom (Cindy) of Louisville, OH; and four nieces and four nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2010, 10 AM at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Tuesday from 6-8 PM at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Wednesday morning at 9:30 AM
