Donald Deke Makinson

Donald "Deke" Makinson, 77, passed away June 16, 2011.

He lived life to the fullest, always offering his help or home to anyone that needed it.

Preceded in death by two great-grandchildren, he leaves behind his loving wife of 52 years, Janice; sons Troy (Linda) and Todd (Rose); daughter Dawn (Troy); grandchildren Anna (David), Jeremy, Kara (Rob), Josh (Christina), Jenna (William) and Carli; great-grandson Todd Jr. and expected great-grandchild "Cletus fetus"; brother Tom (Betty); sister-in-laws Karen and Yogi; brother-in-law Richard (Marilyn); as well as many other family and friends.

A special thanks to Marie, Nikki, Jack, Diane, Kathy and Jann, the wonderful people from Hospice of Summa.

Per his wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at his home on Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 12-4 P.M.
