Donald R. Zimmer

MANCHESTER---Donald R. Zimmer, 85, passed away April 8, 2010 at Roselawn Terrace in Alliance. He was born in Akron and was the owner/operator of Zimmer Printing Co. for many years. Donald was a member of the Miller Ave. United Church of Christ in Akron and was also a proud Army Veteran having served during WWII. Preceded in death by his wife Virginia; Survivors include his daughters Diana Higgins, Linda Walker and Sylvia Athens; son Donald R. Zimmer II; 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday April 10, 2010, 10:00 A.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
