Donna L. Lattea

Heaven received another angel. Donna Lee Lattea, 83, passed away surrounded by love. Born in Acosta, Pennsylvania, she was the beloved daughter of Olen and Bernadine Harvey. She was the seventh of ten children and grew up surrounded by the love, laughter, and bonds that come with being part of a large family.

On November 6, 1965, Donna married the love of her life, Emlous Lattea. Together, they built a family and a life filled with love, devotion, and countless memories over their beautiful 60 years of marriage.

Donna was a devoted wife and mother to her angel baby, Debbie, and her son, Mike Lattea (Lisa Lattea), and she took great pride in her family. Her love extended far beyond her immediate family. When her sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and John Barrickman, passed away in 1979, Donna and Emlous opened their hearts and home to Kim and John (Laura) Barrickman, caring for them as their own and becoming an important and loving presence in their lives.

Family was at the center of Donna’s world. She was a proud grandmother to nine grandchildren: Tyler and Abby Lattea; Kelcie, JD, Jabin, and Kloee Cuckler; and Johnny, Brooke, and Lexi Barrickman. She was also blessed with 12 great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy and gave her even more reasons to smile.

Donna will be remembered for the love she gave so freely, her devotion to her family, and the way she was always there for the people she loved. She was not only a wife, mother, and grandmother, but also a source of strength, comfort, and unconditional love. The lives of her family were made better simply because she was in them.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Olen and Bernadine Harvey; sisters Mary Anne and Patricia; and brothers Olen, Robert, Ronald, Edward, and Woodrow. She is survived by her husband Emlous, and sisters Peggy and Emma Jean.

Donna’s greatest legacy is the family she loved so deeply and the countless lives she touched with her kindness, compassion, and unwavering devotion. Her love will continue to live on in every story shared, every tradition carried forward, and every heart she helped shape. Though she is no longer with us, Donna will remain forever present in the family she cherished, watching over them until they meet again.

Donna's Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours One Hour Prior to the Service.
