Donna L. (Rairck) Smith

BARBERTON---Donna L. Smith, 86, passed away March 12, 2016 at Manor Care of Barberton.

Donna was born in Akron and had been a life resident of the Norton and Barberton area all her life.  She attended Norton High School and was a member of Loyal Oak VFW Post 4466 Ladies Aux. Donna was also a devout member of St. Augustine Catholic Church.

Preceded in death by her daughters Nancy Parker and Marilyn Mattes; and son Robert Smith; She is survived by her daughter Linda Morris; sons Jeffrey (Gay), Donald and William (Lisa); grandchildren Jesse Mattes, Vance, Steven, Katelyn and Jessica Smith, Nicole and Paul Zetts and Madison Smith; great grandchildren Isabella and Sofia Zetts, Jackson Phillips and Anthony Lehman; sister Patricia Oser; and close friend Lako “Chuck” Rogers.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204-6th St. NW, Barberton. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Calling Hours Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Hospice of Green.
