Dorien Marie (Dallman) Mattle

Dorien M. Mattle, 88, passed away into the arms of the Lord on May 30, 2021.

Dorien was born in Madison, WI and had been a Barberton resident most of her life where she retired from P.P.G. Industries after 38 years of service. She was a member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church in Norton where she was active with the Ladies Aid, LWML and did numerous other activities for the church. Dorien loved attending her children and grandchildren’s sporting events, was a Jr. Bowling Coach, Den Mother and played Mrs. Claus at P.P.G. for many years.

Dorien is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Paul R.; son David (Conny); daughters Paulette Otto, Diane Maag and Kathy (Paul) Sharkey; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and sister Claudia (Charlie) Labbe.

Calling Hours will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church,  5451 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd. Norton. Dorien’s Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Rev. Curtis Stephens officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthew Church.
