Dorothy C. (Jewell) Andrews

Dorothy Carolyn (Jewell) Andrews, 95 of Irwin, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 24, 1926 in Athens, OH, to the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Waldie) Jewell and spent many years of her life in Norton, Ohio, Doylestown, Ohio and Irwin, Pennsylvania.  Dorothy was a loving and giving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother.  Dorothy was active at the Level Green Senior Center.  She loved playing bingo, scrabble and enjoyed singing to her grandchildren.  She will be dearly missed.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Elden James Andrews and by her sons, James and Elmer Lee Andrews.  She is survived by her daughter, Dianne (Delbert) Kish; sister, Opal Hickman Stebbins; five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.

Dorothy's Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022, 10:00 a.m., at the Silva – Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. W. Barberton.  Calling hours will be on Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 2 – 4 and 6 -8 p.m.
