Dorothy C. (Weigand) Miller

Dorothy C. Miller, 96, passed away peacefully at her residence on August 18, 2022.

Dorothy was born in Barberton where she was a life resident and member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. She worked at Marshall’s Dept. Store and retired from First Merit Bank.

Preceded in death by her husband Paul; parents Conrad and Esther Weigand; sisters Janet Labbe and Rita Crookston; and brothers Harold and Donald Weigand; She is survived by her daughter Kathleen (David) Fletcher; grandson Bryan (Jessica) Fletcher; great-granddaughter Gemma and one more on the way; sisters Mary Patton, Eileen Slimak and Margaret Brescilli; and many nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank Summa Hospice, especially Katie and Beatrice for their care and compassion for Dorothy and her family.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204-6th St. NW., Barberton. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Tuesday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
