Douglas E. Rader

Douglas E. Rader, age 68, born in Barberton on May 2, 1956 passed away on January 7, 2025, at Barberton Summa Hospital.

Doug Worked for Cavanaugh Construction and retired after 33-years of service. He was also a member of Local Union 894 of Akron.

Doug loved fishing and hunting, as well as the great outdoors.

Doug is survived by brother, Darrell Rader (and Stacy Schoolcraft); wife, Sarah Cook; step-sons, David and Dean Cook; and his beloved fur babies Lucie Lou and Bubby Dog Leo. Along with his work brothers and many friends. Doug will be missed.

Per his wishes Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will held January 25, 2025. from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Northside Christian Church, 7615 Ridge Road, Wadsworth 44281.
