Edward W. Wood (Kuzia)

Edward W. Wood (Kuzia), 45, passed peacefully on May 30, 2022.

Ed was born in Fort Dix, New Jersey, but spent most of his life in Akron. He graduated from East High School in 1994.

Preceded in death by his grandparents, brother Stephen, and cat Joe; Ed is survived by his children, Caylan, Kaleb, and Hanna; grandson, Graeme; partner, Leslie; parents, Colleen and Charles, and father, Ed; siblings, Betsey, William (Megan), and Shaun (Angela); seven nieces; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and cats Heidi and Ed.

Ed was an avid reader, writer, and poet. He was a kind and gentle soul who will be missed by many.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 8, 2022, from 5 to 8 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd West, Barberton. Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jim Roma officiating. Burial immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery.
