Edwin P. Collins

FAIRLAWN---Edwin P. Collins, 85, passed away November 22, 2010 at the Village of St. Edward in Fairlawn. Born in Detroit, MI he had been an Akron/Wadsworth area resident most of his life retiring from Industrial Tool & Machine after 27 years of service. He was a member of the Williard United Church of Christ in Akron and a proud Navy Veteran having served during WWII.

Preceded in death by loving wife Evelyn; Survivors include his daughter Linda (Richard) Royer of Columbia, MO; grandson Keith (Janell) Royer of Columbia, MO; great-granddaughter Avery Nicole Royer; and brothers Bruce of Polk City, FL, and Milton and Fritz (Anita) of the Akron area.


Per his wishes cremation has taken place. Inurnment will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: Operation First Response, 20037 Dove Hill Rd., Culpeper, VA 22701.
