Eleanor J. Leguillon

Eleanor J. Leguillon, 94, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2026. 

Eleanor was born and raised in Barberton and was an area resident all of her life. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. Eleanor loved Polka Music, dancing and also sharing her love of Polkas through her weekly requests for her family and friends to the radio station 88.1.  

Preceded in death by her infant son Dana; and son-in-law Jeff McCaman; paremts George and Freda Schnitzler; brother George Schnitzler; sisters Betty Betts and Barbara Benko; Eleanor is survived by her daughters Micki (Keith) Winans, Cheryl (Rick) Dombroski and Marlene McCaman; sons Charles (Diane) Leguillon, Mark (Diana) Leguillon, Joe Leguillon (Tim Brown) and Dennis (Teri) Leguillon; 23 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Eleanor's Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 Sixth St. NW., Barberton. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours will be One Hour Prior to the Mass AT THE CHURCH. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Ohio Hospice Life Care, 1900 Akron Road, Wooster, Ohio 44691.
