Elizabeth Betty Jevec

Elizabeth E. "Betty" Jevec, age 91, passed away on June 15, 2014. Born January 11, 1923 to the late Louis and Agnes Arko in Barberton, Ohio. Betty lived in Barberton most of her life, then moved to Doylestown, Ohio. Preceded in death by husband Joseph, sisters Agnes Groom, Jennie Dutka and 3 infant children. She is survived by son John (Cookie) Jevec, of Hartville, Ohio; sisters Frances Trenta, Brother Louis Arko; grandchildren Kelly (Barry) Carlson; Tracy (Brian) Finnefrock, Joseph Jevec, Julia Jevec, and 3 great grandsons as well as many nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by good friends Janet and Jerry Baughman. Special thanks to the caregivers at Shepherd's Gate and Altman Hospice. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, June 18, 2014, 10:00am, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Barberton, Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family Tuesday, June 17, 2014 from 5pm to 8 pm at the Silva - Hostetler Funeral Home 1199 Wooster Rd. West., Barberton, where prayers will be said 9:30am Wednesday morning.
