Surrounded by her family, Elizabeth Marguerite Primm (nee Crosely) beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, great-great grandmother, and dear friend to many passed away peacefully in her home in the evening on Saturday, July 17th, 2010. She was 91. "Peggy" Primm was born in Akron, Ohio, on November 20th, 1918, and graduated in 1937 from East High School, which voted her Most Athletic for her accomplishments in basketball and swimming. Growing up, she spent her summers with her grandparents in West Virginia, which went on to crown her 1st Runner Up in the Miss West Virginia contest for her beauty, poise, and intelligence. Peggy married Robert C. Primm, Sr., who fought in World War II, on October 20, 1936. She worked 13 years at BF Goodrich and then 27 years in the emergency room at Barberton Citizens Hospital. She retired in 1982 to spend more time with her family and enjoy her pastimes especially Bingo, bowling, WAKR, holiday decorations, and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Peggy was a proud member of AAA and St. Paul's Methodist Church in Barberton. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Caroline Primm; her father, Edgar Crosley, Sr.; her husband, Robert C. Primm, Sr.; her mother, Catherine Hayes; her granddaughter, Tracy Upchurch; and her brother, Edgar Crosley, Jr. Peggy is survived by her three children, Corky Boshara of Akron, Robert C. Primm, Jr. of Barberton, and Forrest R. Primm, Sr. (Gloria) of Naples, Florida. She also is survived by six grandchildren, RJ Boshara, Jr. (Lora Iannotti) of St. Louis, David R. Boshara of Akron, Dana A. Gauer (Jeff) of Marco Island, Florida, Stacy L. King (Harold) of Norton, Forrest R. Primm, Jr. (Christine) of Pittsburgh; and Douglas R. Primm (Kelly) of Katy, Texas. Peggy was also blessed with 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Calling hours will be TONIGHT from 5 TO 8 p.m. at Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Road West, Barberton. Private Funeral Service Tuesday, July 20th at Lakewood Cemetery with Pastor Michael Sommerville officiating.
