Ernie A. Miller

CLINTON---Ernie A. Miller, 89, passed away December 9, 2010 at the Hospice Care Center. Born in Barberton, he was an area resident most of his life where he retired from Metro Regional Transit Authority as the general manager after 19 years. Ernie was also a proud Navy Veteran having served during both WWII and Korea. Preceded in death by his sister Dorothy Jean Miller; Survivors include his loving wife of 69 years Carolyn J.; children David A. (Gail) of Norton, John V. (Diane) of Collinsville, IL, Elizabeth Ann (Scott) Earnshaw of Sharon Center, OH and Dan P. (Linda) of Barberton; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2010, 5:00 PM at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Calling Hours One Hour Prior to the Service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
