Eva C. Boros

BARBERTON---Eva C. Borsos, 80, passed away November 9, 2011 at the Hospice Care Center. Born in Kenmore, she was an area resident all her life where she retired after many years from the Akron Public School System as a Transportation Administrator. She was a member of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Barberton, where she was active in the Altar Guild and Episcopal Churchwomen. She was also a volunteer and former Board Member for the Barberton Free Clinic. Eva also enjoyed golfing. Preceded in death by her parents James T. and Virginia A. Leonard; son James Singer; and brother Thomas Leonard; Survivors include her loving husband Richard P.; children Robert M. Singer, Gail E. Cartledge and Gary T. Singer; step-sons Brian and Rick Borsos; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and sister Mary Peterman. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 12, 2011, 10:00 A.M. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 267-5th St. NW, Barberton. Rev. George Tarsis officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
