Evelyn D Hollenbaugh

PORT ORANGE, FL---Evelyn D. Hollenbaugh, 92, passed away June 30, 2012 at the Harbor Oaks Elderly Care Home in Port Orange, FL. Born in Barberton she had been an area resident most of her life having lived the past 20 years in Florida. Evelyn retired from the Barberton Police Dept. in 1984 after 26 years of service and was also employed by the U.S. Government during WWII. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, St. Monica's Altar Society, the WWII Night Fighters Association and an auxiliary member of the TROA and DAV.


Preceded in death by her husband Justin and son Joel; survivors include sons John (Judith) of Barberton and Mark (Laura) of Ann Arbor, MI; daughters Diana (Brad) Koshland of Daytona Beach, FL and Carol Hollenbaugh of Doylestown; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.


A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 18, 2012, 10 A.M. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 6th St. NW, Barberton,. Interment at Lakewood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are requested to the St. Augustine Endowment Fund or The American Cancer Society.
