Florence (Taylor) Easterling

Florence Taylor Easterling died peacefully on October 16, 2024 at Bath Manor Specialty Care Center in Akron, Ohio. She was loved and well cared for while having lived there since December 2016. Florence was born on December 8th 1929 to Garfield and Catherine Taylor (Harris) who both preceded her in death.  She grew up and lived her childhood in Barberton. After marrying Zellouis Easterling, they moved to Akron to raise their family.  Her kindness, good sense of humor, love for God’s Word and sweet tooth will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her. Florence was a devout Christian and gained hope and encouragement by reading her Bible. She rested upon the truth she would receive eternal life as a result of her faith and trust in Jesus Christ her Lord and Savior. She was especially grateful for her pastor and good friend, Thomas Richardson from Akron Thornton Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.  Florence was a member there for 35 years and had many church friends who extended much care, love and fellowship throughout the years. A memorial service is being planned for a future date.
