Florence J. Murawski

BARBERTON---Florence J. Murawski, 91 passed away peacefully December 7, 2014. She was reunited with her husband Bennie C. Murawski Sr., sister Helen Otanicar and son-in-law Stephen G. Durbin. She was born July 25, 1923 in Barberton, Ohio and was a life resident of Barberton. Florence was a former employee of Milich's Village Inn and Yoder Brothers. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. She is survived by her children, Monica Rupert of Barberton, Bennie (Brenda) Murawski Jr. of Doylestown, Janice (Ed) Vatilla and Vivian Durbin of all of Norton, 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren (one for every card dealt in the game of push). She also leaves behind her sisters Eleanor Osborne of Oxford, Ohio and Clara Pokopac of Barberton, brother Frank (Joan) Kaplinski Jr. of Barberton, brother-in-law Ed Otanicar Sr. of Wadsworth and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday, December 12, 2014, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson, celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Additional calling hours at the church on Friday from 9:30--10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice Care Center, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333.
