Frances M. Obraza

BARBERTON---Frances M. Obraza, 93, passed away January 4, 2015 at Akron City Hospital. Frances was born in Red Rock, West Virginia and had been an area resident all her life where she retired from Merryweather Latex and Foam. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, K.S.K.J. Lodge #110 and the Slovene Center. Frances enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends. Preceded in death by her husband Lloyd; and brothers Stanley and Fred Ogrizek; Survivors include her son John (Karen Geitgey); daughters Paulette (Frank) Horton, Jennifer (Rich) Movens and Michelle (Robert) Calloway; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Calling Hours Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Wednesday morning at 9:30 A.M. Private burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Prince of Peace Church or the charity of one's choice.
