BARBERTON---Frances (Epner) Wigh, born April 2, 1922, “Other Grandma” fell asleep on July 6, 2016 at home and joined her granddaughter Shelley McGraw.

Fran was a wonderful home maker, a great friend and a fantastic wife and Mother.  She was an excellent cook and made the best Hungarian pastries and was known for her infamous “nut torte.”

Fran is survived by her husband of 74 years, James G. Wigh, daughters; Fran (Ron) Mollric, Marilyn (Larry) Kovacs and Carol (deceased son-in-law Zeke) Roberts; grandchildren, Mike (Michelle) McGraw, Kristin (Nick) Schaffner; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Emma and Gracie.

She also leaves her brother Paul (Mary) Epner, special nieces and nephews, Paul (Cindy), Anthony, Lauren, Josh; Mike (Peggy); David (Patty) and Dominic.

Also special to her were her five step-grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren along with old friends from Holy Trinity and new friends from Prince of Peace and other relatives, friends and neighbors.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson, celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.  Calling Hours Sunday from 1-5 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.

After the funeral, “It’s Party Time!”—“Celebrate my death and my life. I had a good life and a wonderful family- so enjoy!”  Meet us at the social hall !
