BARBERTON---Frank J. Imhoff, 92, passed away December 21, 2012. Frank was born in Akron and graduated from Sharon Center High School. He was a Barberton resident for 46 years where he retired from Forest City Dillon Core Systems. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Carpenters Local 639, Disabled American Veterans and the Barberton Senior Center. Frank was also a proud WWII Veteran serving with the 331st Infantry. He received a Purple Heart and Three Bronze Stars. Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mary; his wife of 58 years Julia C.; and brothers Ralph and Harold; Survivors include his son Daniel F. (Norma) of Redondo Beach, CA; daughter Linda (Michael) Wotring of Wadsworth; grandchildren Gina M. Stump; Christie C. (Charles) Wilson and Frank D. Imhoff; and great grandchildren Christopher, Joshua, Brandon and Zachary. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 9:00 A.M. on Friday, December 28, 2012 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204-6th St. NW, Barberton. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Calling Hours Thursday from 6-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
