BARBERTON---Frank Krajcovic, 78, passed away May 10, 2011. Many will dearly miss Frank. He was a wonderful Husband, Father and Grandfather. Born in Akron, raised in Kenmore, then later resided in Barberton with his wife and family. He joined the U.S. Navy and proudly served his country for four years, during the Korean War. He retired as an Auto Body teacher from Akron Public Schools. He was an extremely talented man who enjoyed working with his hands especially creating tiffany glass lamps, metalworking, upholstery and anything related to cars. His attention to detail was amazing. He had an uncanny ability to fix anything and was the most kind-hearted man on earth. He deeply loved his family and what he valued most was spending time with his grandchildren and attending all of their events. He was a member of the Slovak Catholic Sokol, a Charter Member of the Greater Akron Model T Club, Antique Automobile Club of America and the Studebaker Drivers Club. He was a parishioner of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary, sisters, Wilma Beam and Bertha Stewart, and brother Joseph.Frank is survived by the greatest joy in his life, his loving wife, Judy, of 50-1/2 wonderful years, daughter, Ann Marie (Ken) Krizay, son, Frank (Kim) Krajcovic Jr., grandchildren, Krystal, Rachael, Nicole and Michael Krajcovic, brother Paul (Maureen) Krajcovic, nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, May 16, 2011, 10 A.M. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Sunday from 2-7 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Monday morning at 9:30 A.M.
