Frank F. Milinkovich

BARBERTON----Frank F. Milinkovich "Chicken Frank", 70, passed away Sunday January 29, 2012. Frank was a lifetime resident of Barberton and retired from Babcock and Wilcox after 30 years of service. Frank had a passion and love for Barberton Sports and recently was inducted into the Barberton Sports Hall of Fame for devoting over 35 years to Barberton Youth Sports which included Boy Scout Leader, President of Barberton Little League, starting Barberton Girls Softball, Magics II Pee-Wee Football, Nomads Softball and Barberton and Coventry Softball Coach. He received the name "Chicken Frank" from being a frequent caller to WNIR and recently received the caller of the year award for 2011. His recent hobbies were playing cards with his grandkids and trying to beat his grandsons at video games. He will be missed dearly by his grandkids who always put a smile on his face. Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Catherine; Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Betty; daughters Theresa (Phil) and Shannan (Scott); sons Frank (Kim) and Paul (Karen); his grandchildren who he adored, Lauren, Anthony, Nate, Nick, Bethany, Mandy, Joe Joe, Frankie and Della; brother Paul; sisters Gloria and Joyce; and numerous other friends and family members. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 2, 2012, 11:00 A.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours Wednesday from 4-8 P.M.
