Frank J. Weigand

BARBERTON---Frank J. Weigand, 67, passed away March 3, 2016. Frank was born in Barberton where he was a resident for the past 25 years.  He retired as a salesman from Chris-Craft Boats after 30 years and also from ADW. Frank was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church where he participated in the Holy Hour Program. He also was active in the Community Pregnancy Center Men’s Ministry and a proud member of A.A. Preceded in death by his parents Louis and Agnes; brother Jerry; and sister Harriet Ann; He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years Barbara E. (nee Stock); daughter Kelly Weigand; stepson Edward (Jennifer) Grimes; sisters-in-law Mary Jane (Tom) Gardner and Linda Sykes; brothers-in-law Mike (Peggy) Stock and Jim (Donna) Stock; numerous wonderful nieces and nephews; close friends Mark Sullivan and Jeff Krizay; and many more close friends through family and A.A. A special thank you to Hospice of Summa, especially Mandy and Tiara. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204-6th St. NW, Barberton. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Augustine Endowment Trust Fund or A.A.
