Gail Anne (Mcmackin) Thomas

Gail Anne Thomas, (nee McMackin), 78, passed away peacefully with her husband by her side on March 27, 2024.

Gail was born in Elizabeth, NJ and was a resident of the Wadsworth, Barberton and Norton area where she retired from BWXT after 39 ½ years. She also worked at the Richfield Coliseum and Gund Arena for 23 years. Gail was a member of the United Methodist Church of Wadsworth, Hungarian Club and Liedertafel Club.

Preceded in death by her parents George and Theora McMackin; She is survived by her loving husband Bron; stepsons Bron II (Kim) Thomas and Joseph (Jessica) Thomas; granddaughter Kate; and brother Gary ( Fern Candido) McMackin.

Gail’s Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Burial at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Monday from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church of Wadsworth.
