Gary L. Michaels

Gary L. Michaels, 69, passed away January 3, 2011 after a courageous battle from an extended illness. Born in Barberton, he was an area resident all his life where he worked in the tool and die trade for many years. Gary enjoyed spending time with his family, sailing, traveling and riding his motorcycles. Preceded in death by his father Jack; Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years Gerri (nee Flickinger); daughters Shellie (Mick Maag) Michaels and Tammy Robertson (fiancAC.e Jeff Orr); granddaughter Chelsea Robertson; mother Margaret Michaels; and sister Connie Michaels. The family would also like to give a special thanks to a special friend, Melanie Vesner. Calling Hours will be Thursday, January 6, 2011 from 5-8 PM at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd.
