Gene W. Goebel

Gene Waychoff Goebel, age 78 years old, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 7th, in the presence of his loving family. He leaves behind his loving wife Dorothy, his son Matt, his daughter-in-law Jenna, and his precious grandson Lucas. We will miss Gene and we will honor his life as long as we live.

Gene was born in Bellevue, Ohio and currently resided in Wadsworth, Ohio. Gene worked at Medina County Board of Development Disabilities for many years. Gene was a photographer and was very talented at using Photoshop to enhance and manipulate his photos. Everyone who came to our house was escorted around so Gene could show off his photos hanging on the walls.

Gene also leaves behind his sister Annette Potnick who resides in Columbus, Ohio, and his sister-in-law, Sally Goebel, who resides in Florida. His brother Dorman Goebel and sister Diane Sepeta have passed. Gene also leaves many nieces and nephews.

Per his wishes, Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.
