George E. Habig

BARBERTON---George E. Habig, 86, passed away October 27, 2015.

George worked for Goodyear for 37 years as a Lab Technician and served in the Korean War with the US Army 25th Division, 90th Field Battalion.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gloria; and daughter Georgette; Survivors include his daughter Shellee (Paul); son Christopher (Laurie); four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Per his wishes Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 29, 2015 at 1:30 P.M. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Deacon Robin Adair officiating. Procession to form at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton at 12:45 P.M. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of your choice.
