George W. Kozarevic

DOYLESTOWN---George W. Kozarevic 75, passed away March 20, 2012 at Summa Barberton Hospital.


George was born in Barberton and lived in various cities throughout the country and more recently lived in Las Vegas. He retired from SCM Corporation after 40 plus years of service and moved back to the area residing in Doylestown. He was a graduate of Barberton High School and Bowling Green State University. George was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church in Barberton where he was active in the choir, was a lector and participated in the Holy Hour Program. He was also a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union and Knights of Columbus.


Preceded in death by his parents Mike and Katherine; brothers Joseph and Bart; and sister Josephine Hanic; Survivors include his sisters Dorothy Otto of Phoenix, AZ, Emma (Larry) Young and Helen Klancar all of Barberton; brothers Frank of Dallas, TX, Thomas (Jackie) of Barberton and Edward of Doylestown; and numerous nieces and nephews.


Mass of Christian Burial well be held on Saturday, March 24, 2012, 10:00 A.M. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204 - 6th St. N.W., Barberton. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling hours Friday from 5-7 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton where prayers will be said Saturday morning at 9:30 A.M.
