BARBERTON---Gladys M. Rado, 90, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2016.
Our family lost its matriarch, our mother and grandmother. She may be gone but she lives on in each of us family members she’s left behind. Right now there are tears in our eyes and a hole in our hearts, but she’s raised a strong family and we are all better off for having had her around for the 90 years she’s lived. I have no doubt our strength will bolster us through the years but please pray for us while the pain is raw and the hole is large. The deep sadness this has left us with will never fully disappear, but with time we’ll get back to us.
Gladys was born in Monaca, PA and had been a Barberton area resident all her life.
She worked at Hiss Bakery and also at Akron General in the housekeeping dept. Gladys was a member of the former SS.
