Glenn Ashby Davis Jr., a proud United States Marine joined our heavenly father while at his home in Barberton surrounded by his loved ones after a short but tough battle with cancer. The oldest son of Glenn “Jeep” Davis and Delores “Dee” Davis, Glenn was born in Ithaca, New York and moved to Barberton, Ohio when he was a child where he graduated from Barberton High School. At age 18, Glenn enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Honorably serving for four years, he valued this service highly and attained the rank of Private First Class. Glenn was an Artillery Weapons Repairman and always enjoyed working with his hands. Glenn is survived by daughters Stephanie (Jeff), and Rebecca, Fiancé Tammy Hathaway, Grandsons Trent, Mason, Tristan, and Tommy, Granddaughters Madilyn, Ryann and Taelynn, Sister Jennifer (Steve), brother Tim (Denise), Aunt Helen Dimitroff, long time friends Ervin Webb and Renea Davis. Glenn is preceded in death by his parents Jeep and Dee, numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins and many other friends and loved ones. Glenn was known for working in his garage with his oldest Grandson Trent, making pretty much anything you could imagine with wood and most importantly he was known for his crazy stories and great sense of humor. Glenn's Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Pastor Mike Stasko officiating. Calling Hours Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. Burial Thursday, April 10, 2025 at 10:15 a.m. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Procession to form at the funeral home at 9:15 a.m.
