H. Bruce Jackson

Harrison Bruce Jackson, 69, passed away April 5, 2016.

Bruce was born in Steubenville and had been an area resident most of his life.  He was a graduate of Central Hower High School and retired from Schneider Trucking. Bruce was also a proud Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Army.

Preceded in death by his parents Horice and Miriam; and daughter Angela Jackson; he is survived by his loving wife Sue; sons Mike (Jennifer), Don (Chrissy) and Phil (Ola); stepsons John (Shari) Meglich and Bill (Lisa) Meglich; stepdaughter Theresa Meglich; 13 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.

Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, April 9, 2016 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Graveside Service to follow at 12:30 at Greenlawn Memorial Park where Firestone VFW Post 3383 will perform Military Honors.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
