BARBERTON---Helen Marjorie Bevington, 94, passed away August 21, 2010 at Pleasant View Health Care Center.

She was born in Barberton and was a resident of the Lakemore and Green areas for many years where she was a member of Lakemore United Methodist Church.

Preceded in death by husband Owen; and son Norman; Survivors include her son Philip (Leigh) of Manchester; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and sisters Marlene Weigand of Norton and Karen Gibson of Florida.

Memorial Services will be held Saturday, August 28, 2010, 11 AM at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Pastor Jeff Gindlesberger officiating. The family will receive friends One Hour Prior to the service. Interment has already taken place at Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakemore United Methodist Church, 1536 Flickinger Rd., Akron, OH 44312.
