Helen L. Blosser

An Angel whispered take my hand and come with me you're work here is done...Helen Kessinger Blosser passed away with her two children by her side late Monday night, July 23, 2012.


She was born in the small town of Dorthan, WV on September 15, 1931 to loving parents Henry and Pearl. She was the third child out of nine brothers and sisters, who throughout life have remained extremely close and dedicated to each other.

In 1957 she relocated to Ohio where she made a loving home for her children Sharon and Greg. Helen had a magic laugh and was everyone's' caretaker. She loved to cook for any and all, and made the best southern comfort food around. After her children had grown, she spent the next chapter in her life helping out with her granddaughters.

Helen enjoyed the small things in life and loved all of God's creatures. A true animal lover, she offered a home to many strays in her lifetime and made her little dogs the king of the castle.


Preceeded in death by Parents Henry and Pearl, Brother Howard Coleman, Sister Janie Foster (Roger) and Daughter-In-Law Gerri Kessinger.

She will be dearly missed by her children, Sharon Banahan (John) and Gregory Kessinger. Granddaughters, Nikole Wakeling (Rob), Leslie Brooker and Amanda Arvay. Great grand-children, Alexis, Mackenzie, Madisyn, Taylor and Ethan. Brother Carlos (Drema), and Sisters Peggy Brinson (Troy), Drema Coen, Shirley Harris (Bob), Janice Pigg and Sandy Harden (Chris). Numerous Nieces and Nephews, family and friends.


A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 26, 2012, 12 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Calling hours ONE HOUR PRIOR to the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the funeral home in Helen's name.
