Howard Tuck, 77, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Born on May 12, 1949, in Barberton, Howard lived a life rooted in faith, love, and devotion to those closest to him.
Howard loved Jesus, found great joy in music, and cherished every moment spent with his family. His kindness, steady presence, and unwavering faith will be remembered by all who knew and loved him.
Howard is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Angela Tuck; his daughters, Alison Dixon (Rob) and Melanie Burnett (Brian); his grandchildren, Coby Tuck, Ashley Whitt (Eddie), Amanda Dixon, Andrea Dixon, Mason Burnett, and Sophie Burnett; and his great-grandchildren, Nora, Brady, Peyton, and Delaney Whitt. His legacy of love and faith will continue through each of them.
The family wants to personally thank Southern Care Hospice for the love, care and support they provided, especially his care team Angie, Payton, Kelly, Vikki and Cheyenne
A Memorial Service celebrating Howard's life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8th, at Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. The family will receive family and friends from 2-4 p.m. A gathering of family and friends for a Celebration of Life dinner to follow.
All who knew and loved Howard are welcome to join in honoring his memory and sharing stories of the life he lived so well.
Howard found comfort and strength in his faith, and his family takes comfort in the words of Psalm 23:1–4:
"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort
