Ileane C. Spoonster

BARBERTON---Ileane C. Spoonster, 90, passed away August 30, 2012 at Summa Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital. Ileane was born in Barberton where she was a life resident and retired as an accountant with Gerald Baughman CPA. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister and participated in the Holy Hour program for over 20 years. She was a scout leader for 21 years and also a member of G.B.U. District 361 for 26 years where she served as an officer for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Catherine; brothers George, Joseph, Robert, John, William and Richard Spoonster; and sister Gertrude Young. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Calling Hours will be held on Monday, September 3, 2012 from 3-6 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday at 10 A.M. at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 204-6th St. NW, Barberton. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Augustine Endowment Trust Fund.
