Jacob Tyler Parker

Jacob Tyler Parker, 25, passed away unexpectedly on July 11, 2023, at Barberton Hospital in Barberton, Ohio.

He was born on September 28, 1997, in Barberton, Ohio, the son of Brian Riggs and Amy Parker.

Jacob enjoyed spending time outdoors, he loved riding his dirt bike, camping and fishing. Jacobs true sense of joy and happiness came from spending time with his children, he lived every day of his life for them.

He is survived by his loving parents, Amy (Jay Belkey) Parker and Brian (Amber) Riggs; his children, Jacob William Ray Parker and Paisleigh Reign Parker; his siblings: Brian, Andrew, Zach, Jayson, Noah, Dominick and Massiah; his fiancé and loving companion of 12 years, Starr Fairchild whom he always called his “wife”; his grandmother, Gloria, his great-grandmother, Marion; his aunts and uncles: Amanda, Lisa, Gary, Joyce, Jennifer and Kenny; numerous cousins he was very close with and his future mother-in-law, Julie Fairchild to whom Jacob felt blessed to have in his life and the lives of his children; and his friends-too many to list but they were friends that were always there for him.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 24, 2023, from 6:00p-8:00p at Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home, 1199 Wooster Road, Barberton, Ohio, 44203. Funeral service to be held on Tuesday July 25, 2023, at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial to immediately follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Barberton.
