James E. Augustine

PORTAGE LAKES---James E. Augustine (Augie) passed away on Feb. 18, 2021.  He was Born in Akron, Ohio on July 8, 1945 and was a graduate of Coventry High and Kent State University.  Augie enjoyed fishing, golfing and was an avid bowler (owning and operating his own pro shop at Stonehedge).  He was inducted into the Tricounty Bowling Hall of Fame.

He was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Donna, daughter Brenda (Mike), son Bob (Jackie) and grandsons Nick and Curtis.  He is also survived by His siblings Larry, Linda and Lori (Gary) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Due to Covid, no services will be held at this time. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place and inurnment will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
