James E ("Poppy") Bell

BARBERTON---James E. “Poppy” Bell, 81, passed away December 20, 2016 at Doylestown Health Care Center. James was born in Falkville, Alabama and had been a Barberton resident all his life where he retired from the Babcock and Wilcox Co. after 41 yrs. of service. Preceded in death by his wife Marilyn; and sisters Shirley and Evelyn; He is survived by his daughters Lisa (Richard) Studenic of Wadsworth and Debbie Golub of Doylestown; son Jim (Kathy) Bell of Parker, CO; grandchildren Hannah, Matt, Jacob, Jeremy, Sarah and Jessica; and brother Jerry (Cathy) Bell of Dublin, OH.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Friday, December 23, 2016 at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Pastor Jerry Butcher officiating. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling Hours ONE HOUR PRIOR to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Crossroads Community Church, 700 Gates St., Doylestown, OH 44230.
