James E. Burke

NORTON---James E. Burke, 70, passed away April 16, 2011 at his residence. He was born in Barberton and was a Barberton and Norton resident all his life where he retired from the F.W. Madden Trucking Co. James enjoyed being outdoors and doing yard work. Preceded in death by his parents Elmer and Adeline Burke; brother Vincent; and nephew Joseph Blankenship Jr. Survivors include his sisters and brothers, Shirley (Tim) Blankenship, Emily Burke, Patricia (Kevin) Murphy, Jerry Burke, Margaret Burke, John Burke and Mary (Don) Fletcher; and many nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank all of Jim's home health care providers and especially Vicky Phatt from Area on Aging. Funeral Service will be held 11 A.M. Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton. Rev Billy Dawson and Brother Joe Thornton officiating. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Calling Hours Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
