James M. Geig

January 16, 1958 — March 20, 2018

James M. Geig, 60 of Barberton, passed away Tuesday, March 20, 2018. Born in Akron, he had been a Barberton area resident all of his life and was formerly employed at Serpentini Chevrolet in Orrville. Jim was a devote Catholic and attended Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Jim’s passions in life were playing the drums in a band and the outdoors. Preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth “Betty” Geig; Jim is survived by his son Greg (Elisa) Geig; granddaughter Luna; father Jim Geig; brothers Joseph (Frances) Geig and John (Christine) Geig.

A Memorial Mass will be held SATURDAY, March 24, 2018, 10am at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton, Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Calling Hours Saturday, ONE HOUR PRIOR to Mass at the church.
