Janice M. Underation

NORTON---Janice M. Underation, (nee Oyler), 70, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 6, 2013 at Summa Akron City Hospital. Born in Barberton, she had been a Barberton/Norton resident all her life where she was a graduate of Barberton High School Class of 1960. She was a member of the former S.S. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church and Sokol Wreath #103. Janice was a caring and loving wife, mother and grandmother who filled her home with love and always put others first. Janice and Pete enjoyed traveling the U.S. and Foreign Countries and in recent years she grew to appreciate new thrill seeking adventures. Preceded in death by her parents William and Isabel Oyler; Survivors include her loving husband of 48 years, Peter S.; children Chris (Christine), Becki (Kevin) Fink, Marc and Allison (Derek) Huntsman; grandchildren Christian J, Jarek and Elisha Underation and Mandi, Clayton and Kyle Fink; brother Fred Oyler; and numerous other relatives and friends. The family wishes to thank Jack Leatherman and Charma Baker for their loving friendship and support. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday February 11, 2013 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Fr. Robert Jackson celebrant. Interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Calling Hours Sunday from 3-7 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton, where prayers will be said Monday morning at 10:30 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Haven of Rest.
