Jeffrey R. Petroff

BARBERTON---Jeffrey R. Petroff, 52, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2015. He battled cancer with his "tough as nails" attitude as long as he could. Born November 18, 1962, he graduated from Manchester High School and lived in the Akron/Barberton area the majority of his life. He worked hard, played hard and loved harder.Jeff was preceded in death by parents Russell and Ruby Petroff; grandparents; and Richard Morgan. He is survived by daughter Becca Petroff ; longtime friend/wife Kim (Jameson) Petroff, sister Sharon Petroff of Cincinnati, Aunt Bessie of Akron, Aunt Sophie of Arizona and many nieces and nephews.Special thank you to Parkview Cancer Center: Mary RN, Barb, Dr. Clifford, Regina, Scarlett, Dr. Doncals, Heather, Susan, LeeAnn and the rest of the staff. Your kind and caring efforts made the past 6 months bearable. Calling Hours will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 5-7 P.M. followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 P.M. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd. West, Barberton.
