Jerry L. Swinehart, Sr

CANAL FULTON---Jerry L. Swinehart Sr., 67, passed away July 10, 2011 at Hospice of Summa in Barberton. Jerry was born in Wadsworth, Ohio. He was a resident of Canal Fulton for the last thirty three years. He was employed by Stark Distributing and Elum Music as a driver - salesman for over 30 years retiring in 2003. He was a member of Johnson United Methodist Church in Barberton. He was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Alberta; and brother, Charles Jr.; survived by wife of 36 years Bobbie; daughters, LeeAnn (Jeff) Barnes of Akron; Donna (Jim) Russell of North Canton; sons Michael (Janet) of Coventry; Steve (Judy) of Akron; David (Kim) of New Franklin; Rob (Val) of Akron; Jerry Jr.(Deb) of Youngstown; ten Granddaughters, ten Grandsons, one Great Granddaughter, bother George (Cheryl) of Wadsworth; sister Barbara (Keith) Goff of Green; sister in law Janet (Mike) Stefan of Canal Fulton. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, July 16, 2011 at 11:00 am at Johnson United Methodist Church, 3409 Johnson Rd, Barberton Ohio, Rev. Ken Gifford officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, 1199 Wooster Rd West, Barberton, and also one hour prior to the service at the Church. Inurnment will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Summa Hospital or Johnson United Methodist Church.
