Jesse E. Baughman

Jesse E. Baughman, 76, passed away August 2, 2012 at Summa Barberton Hospital. Born in Barberton, he spent his teen years in Port Washington, OH before entering the military. After his military service he returned to the Barberton/Akron area where he worked for General Metals Powder Co. and retired after 38 years. Jesse was a proud Air Force veteran having served during the Korean War.


Preceded in death by his parents Orville and Euna Baughman; and daughters Teri (Ron) Johns-Sieler and Paula (Jon) Figley ; Survivors include his loving wife of 15 years Patricia; son William (Lourdes); stepchildren Charles Daniel, Terry (Robert) Wimberly, Leigh Anne (Stephen) Goulet, Russell (Toni) Daniel and Michelle (Jay) Dulaney; grandchildren Jennifer and Jessica Johns; Veronica Baughman; and numerous other step grandchildren and great-grandchildren.


Per his wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2012, 10 A.M. at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH, Pastor Robert Webb officiating. Please meet at the cemetery.
