Jo "Peppy" (Cerne) Pyle

On January 8, 2018, Jo Pyle—beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend—went home to be with the Lord following a sudden, brief illness. Anyone who got to know Jo fell in love with her lively spirit and enjoyment of life. From posing for calendars to riding a jet ski on Lake Anna, she lived life to the fullest and was an inspiration to many. She will be missed terribly by all those who knew and loved her.

Words cannot express our gratitude for the care she received over the past years at Pleasant Pointe Assisted Living. She was blessed to count both staff and residents as friends. Dr. Loretta Isada – your kindness and skill as a cardiologist helped to give her a quality of life we never dreamed she would enjoy. We are so grateful. Dr. Abid, your words of wisdom at the last brought more comfort than you could know. Thanks, also, to the staff at Pleasant View Health Care Center and Harbor Light Hospice. You were a Godsend in her final days and so deeply appreciated.
