Joanne M. Terrion

Joanne M. Terrion, age 75, of Cuyahoga Falls, passed away on Monday morning, June 26, 2023 due to natural causes.

She was born on August 19, 1947 in Akron, to the late Francis “Bud” and Jennie (Bischak) Terrion, and has lived in Cuyahoga Falls for most of her adult life.

Joanne graduated from Norton High School with the class of 1965 and then obtained her diploma in Nursing from Akron General Medical Center. She later attended college in Florida and Oregon and obtained her Master’s Degree. She was a Registered Nurse for Akron General and Euclid General Hospitals.

She was a lifetime member of KSKJ. She enjoyed attending local free concerts, participating in book clubs and spending time at the local libraries.

She is survived by her brother Dan (Kim) Terrion of Newcomerstown; sisters Fran Obarski of Wadsworth, Sue (Dave) Burdicko of New Franklin, Chris (Lyle) Foote of Douglasville, GA, Debbie Terrion of Woodland, WA, Alyce (John) Rauchenstein of Washington, NC, Cathy Rexrode of Boise, ID, and Lilly (Don) Longshore of Vancouver, WA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Moff.

Celebration of life will be Sunday, Sept. 24, 1-4 p.m. A meal will be served at 2 p.m., Prince of Peace Hall, 1263 Shannon Ave., Norton. Casual Dress.
