John W. Copeland

John W. Copeland, 75, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 21, 2023.

John was born in Detroit, Michigan and was a proud Army Veteran who fought for his country in Vietnam. He retried from Goodyear in the IT Department. John loved to play euchre, fish, go whitewater rafting, go to amusement parks and spend time time with friends and family at cookouts and attend his children's activities.

Preceded in death by his wife Melissa; father Warren; mother Marie; stepfather Don; and sister Jacqueline; He is survived by his children Katrina, Nikki, Kelsie, Shawn and James; grandchildren Brooklyn, Aiden, Tony, Tayler, Ethan and Johnathan; brother James; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

John's Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25, 2023 at the Silva-Hostetler Funeral Home. Calling Hours One Hour Prior to the Service. Burial will be held at 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery. Procession to form at the funeral home at 8:15 a.m.
